Relocated to Shanghai - With my 4 year-old son Eden! Commissioned work for Australian Financial Review Magazine, VOGUE China, DragonAir, SCMP Sunday Magazine, Shanghai Business Review.
Philip completed assignments for the newly launched VOGUE China and the Australian Financial Review magazine. For VOGUE he was commissioned to photograph a series of portraits on leading contemporary Chinese artists and fashion designers in Shanghai and Beijing. The AFR magazine commissioned Philip to shoot portraits of China's next generation - for a feature focusing on the Republic's One Child Policy.Sept/Oct 2005
China - Philip will be traveling to Hong Kong and China to pursue several photo features, including a feature for Australian Financial Review Magazine.

Philip on judging panel for IRIS AWARDS 2005 at Perth Centre for Photography. Award announcement and exhibition opening 31 August.

Reportage 2005 (Celebration of Australian Photojournalism) , of which my series Shanghai Zeitgeist was selected, screened in Sydney from August 23 - 26, before also screening in Melbourne30 August - 01 September.

CCP/Leica Documentary Awards 2005 - of which my Visible, Now -The Fragility of Childhood series was a finalist - opened in Melbourne 21 July - exhibition continues thru 03 September at Centre for Contemporary Photography, before moving to Sydney, Brisbane and other regional centres around Australia until 2007.
